I use this powerpoint with my whole class in kindergarten. The class sits in the front of the room on the carpet and goes through the alphabet slides – sometimes we say the letter names, other times we do the letter sounds. When they see the little ghost, they jump up and quickly say “Boo!”. This makes a great review of basic letter naming fluency and is perfect for quick movement break or time filler for transitions.
You can quickly modify this game by duplicating or deleting slides. Sometimes, if my students are struggling with certain letters, so I will duplicate those slides and make it appear more than once in the game for repeated practice.
